NOHP puducherry - Bridging the Gap in Rural Oral Health: SUZLON-SuMaatram and Mobile Dental Unit Drive at Thirubuvanai

Mobile dental unit visied to Government Higher Secondary School, Tirubuvanai, on 26-09-2025 in collaboration with the SUZLON - SuMaatram , Rural Health Camp to promote oral health among school children. Students from 6th, 7th, and 8th standards underwent oral screening to identify common dental problems such as cavities, gum issues, and poor oral hygiene. An oral health awareness session was also organized for both students and teachers, focusing on proper brushing techniques, healthy dietary habits, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Educational guidance was provided to encourage preventive care. Overall, around 125 beneficiaries gained from this outreach initiative.
