Healthy Mouth, Healthy Future

As part of the World Oral Health Day initiative, the Department of Public Health Dentistry at Chettinad Dental College and Research Institute, Kelambakkam, organized an oral health awareness and screening program. The event focused on educating participants about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and its connection to overall health.Oral examinations were conducted to identify common dental conditions, followed by interactive sessions demonstrating proper brushing techniques and preventive care practices. Participants were also guided on healthy dietary habits and the risks associated with tobacco use.

The program aimed to instill long-term oral health practices and reinforce the message that a healthy mouth is essential for a healthy future.
