NOHP - Oral screening camp conducted at JNGHSS school Mahe

An oral screening program was conducted on 13/01/2026 at JNGHSS, Mahe for XI standard students. The initiative aimed to assess the oral health status of students and promote awareness about maintaining good dental hygiene. Oral examination was carried out to identify dental problems at an early stage. Students detected with dental issues were referred to CHC Palloor for further diagnosis and appropriate treatment. A total of 30 students were screened during the program, comprising 7 boys and 23 girls. The screening helped in creating awareness about oral health care practices and emphasized the importance of timely dental check-ups for preventing future complications.
