NOHP Puducherry - Cycle Rally in the rural service area of a Community Health Centre

The World Oral Health Day (WOHD) 2025 celebration was held at Mel Thirukanji in association with the Manvasam Youth Club. The event aimed to promote awareness about oral health and hygiene among the youth and the general public.

Event Highlights:

• An oral health and hygiene awareness talk was delivered to educate the youth and the public on the importance of maintaining good oral health practices.

• A cycle rally was organized, where youth participants carried placards and raised slogans to spread oral health awareness among the local community of Thirukanji.

• The rally helped engage and inform the public, encouraging them to adopt better oral hygiene habits.

Participation and Impact:
• Total Participants: 50 (Youth participants)
• Total Beneficiaries: Approximately 250(General public)

The event successfully created a positive impact by encouraging better oral health practices and raising awareness about the importance of oral hygiene in the community.
