NOHP Puducherry - Cycle Rally & Walkathon in a rural community health centre

As a part of World Oral Health Day (WOHD) celebration , a cycle rally  and a walkathon was organized at Manadipet commune. The event aimed to promote awareness about oral health and hygiene among the youth and the general public.

Event Highlights:

• An oral health and hygiene awareness talk was delivered to educate the youth and the public on the importance of maintaining good oral health practices.

• A cycle rally was organized, where youth participants carried placards and walkathon by students from college of Physiotherapy raised slogans to spread oral health awareness among the local community at Mannadipet.

• The rally helped engage and inform the public, encouraging them to adopt better oral hygiene habits.

Participation and Impact:
• Total Participants: 50 
• Total Beneficiaries: Approximately 200 (General public)

The event successfully created a positive impact by encouraging better oral health practices and raising awareness about the importance of oral hygiene in the community.
