
An Oral Health Education Camp was conducted at Mother Teresa Nursing College, Yanam, on the occasion of World Oral Health Day. The program aimed to promote awareness about oral hygiene, the importance of maintaining good oral health, and the harmful effects of tobacco on health and society.

1. Brushing Techniques Demonstration:
• Proper brushing techniques were demonstrated using dental models to ensure better understanding among the participants.
• Students were taught the correct method of brushing and the importance of using appropriate dental care products.
2. Educational Talk:
• Importance of oral hygiene and daily care routines

• Impact of tobacco consumption on society and the role of preventive measures
3. Oral Screening
• An oral health screening was conducted for the participants to identify any potential dental issues and provide recommendations for further care.
