NOHP Puducherry - Fluoride Gel Application and Oral Health Awareness in a rural government school

30/1/25 PHC Nettapakkam - School Dental Health Program at  PM Shri Kamban Government Higher Secondary School Nettapakkam : The students of Class  VI to Class XII were given awareness on 
1. Oral Health - Do's and Don’ts in Oral care and types of brushes and  interdental cleansing aids and its  importance 
2.  Brushing techniques demonstrated using dental models and banners. 
3. Acidulated Phosphate Fluoride gel application : Topical APF gel applications were given to students to prevent tooth decay as a preventive measure. Nearly 625 students benefited.

4. Teacher Training program on oral health for the 25 teaching faculties of the school was held.
