NOHP Puducherry -Oral awareness session talk and screening program for JNGHSS MAHE

An oral screening and awareness class was conducted on 16/01/2026 at JNGHSS, Mahe for X standard students. The program focused on educating students about the importance of oral hygiene, proper brushing techniques, and regular dental check-ups to prevent oral diseases. Along with the awareness session, oral screening was carried out to identify students with dental problems. Those requiring further care were referred to CHC Palloor for necessary treatment and follow-up. A total of 25 students were screened, including 9 boys and 16 girls. The initiative helped promote oral health awareness and encouraged students to adopt healthy dental practices.
