Oral Health Awareness camp for Female Sex Workers was conducted@ CHC Karikalampakkam.

Sex workers, like anyone else, are susceptible to oral health issues like tooth decay, gum disease, and oral infections. Regular oral health awareness and care can help prevent these conditions, which can significantly affect overall health and well-being.

Oral hygiene is crucial in reducing the risk of oral infections, including those that may be transmitted through oral sex. Good oral health practices can reduce the likelihood of mouth sores, bleeding gums, or other conditions that may make someone more susceptible to acquiring or transmitting STIs.

Nearly 25 female workers benifitted from this camp.
