Hello! We are Pediatric Dentists Students Club, School of Dentistry, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences.

The purpose is to provide oral health education to kindergarten children in remote areas in celebration of World Oral Health Day, to conduct preventive dental examinations, to identify high-risk cases at an early stage, and to raise public awareness about World Oral Health Day.

We are students in the 3rd to 6th years at the Mongolian School of Dentistry, and on a voluntary basis, we conducted preventive oral health examinations for more than 300 children from target groups in remote districts in celebration of World Oral Health Day. This included examinations of the teeth, gums, and oral cavity, as well as the application of fluoride varnish. Additionally, we provided health education to both kindergarten teachers and children on proper toothbrushing techniques.

Conclusion
This activity made an important contribution to improving children’s oral health and increasing their knowledge of prevention. It also helps raise public awareness of World Oral Health Day and promotes accurate information about oral health.
