NOPH Puducherry -An oral health and tobacco awareness and screening program was conducted by the School at Government primary School Navarkulam

An oral health and tobacco awareness program was conducted by the School - MDU team at _Government primary School,_ Navarkulam on 13/01/2026. 
A health talk was delivered to students on the ill effects of tobacco and the importance of preventing oral cancer. The theme *“Happy Mouth Is A… Happy Life”* was introduced to emphasize the role of good oral hygiene in overall well-being.

Oral hygiene education was provided, and correct brushing techniques were demonstrated using posters, banners, and dental models.
   Oral screening and basic treatment were also carried out to detect dental problems at an early stage.
The program effectively motivated students to adopt healthy habits. 
A drawing competition was conducted to the students on behalf of Fdi- Wohd celebration.
