As part of World Oral Health Day 2026 in Kosovo, the Orthodontics Clinic at the University Dentistry Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKSUK) has carried out interactive educational and preventive activities focused on orthodontic care.
Dental professionals and students have engaged directly with young patients, providing practical demonstrations and guidance on maintaining proper oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment.
Through the use of visual tools and hands-on interaction, patients have been educated on correct brushing techniques, appliance care and the importance of regular dental visits.
This activity has emphasized early prevention, patient education and the development of healthy oral hygiene habits, particularly among children undergoing orthodontic care.
The initiative has contributed to improving patient understanding, strengthening preventive practices and promoting long-term oral health and well-being.
