School of Dentistry - New Giza University: Campus WOHD Celebration Event & Session (Lecture)

An awareness event for the New Giza University Attendees, workforce, faculties and faculties’ members, students of all schools, dental interns, attending patients of the New Giza University Dental School Clinics. 

The Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee of New Giza University’s Dental School organizes annually an event that takes place on NGU’s campus, celebrating the World Oral Health Day, by spreading awareness on campus amongst all attendees, each year different activities take place. This year an awareness session and lecture is taking place where esteemed guest experts from school of medicine and school of dentistry participated in a discussion with all attendees regarding different awareness topics targeted at the WOHD. Different booths will be set out for healthy food, nutrition expert advice, mental health awareness and smoking hazards awareness, sports engagement and physical activities. Oral check-ups and counseling will be available all day through the NGU dental clinics. Awareness sessions and activities will be carried out throughout the day for patients and NGU’s workforce with handing out of giveaways such as toothpaste and toothbrushes. Coloring Sheets, Brushing Schedules, Flyers, and handouts with instructions provided by the resources found on the WOHD website will be given out as well as customized material made by the Community Service Committee
