World Oral Health Day Thailand 2026 – National Campaign Event

The Dental Association of Thailand, under Royal Patronage, will organize the national campaign event for World Oral Health Day (WOHD) 2026 on 20th March 2026 at CentralWorld, Bangkok. The event serves as a key platform to raise public awareness on oral health as a fundamental component of overall health and well-being, in alignment with the global WOHD campaign led by the FDI World Dental Federation.

Held under the global theme “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Life”, the event emphasizes that good oral health is essential for quality of life across all stages of life. The programme is organized in collaboration with the Thai Dental Student Association, government agencies, academic institutions, and private sector partners.

The official opening ceremony will be presided over by the Director-General of the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, alongside senior health leaders, dental professionals, students, industry representatives, media, and members of the public. The programme will include a welcome address, a presentation of campaign objectives, and a keynote lecture on national oral health policy and promotion.

A key highlight of the event is the “Healthy Teeth Contest”, recognizing individuals and families with exemplary oral health practices to inspire preventive behaviors across all age groups .

Throughout the day, a wide range of interactive and educational activities will be conducted, including:

  • Public lectures and panel discussions on the link between oral health and general health
  • Demonstrations of proper oral care practices for all age groups
  • Educational exhibitions led by dental students
  • Interactive games and engagement activities with prizes
  • Booths from oral health product partners providing information and free samples

A special knowledge-sharing session will highlight the connection between oral health and systemic diseases, reinforcing the concept of oral health as a gateway to overall health .

In addition to on-site activities, the campaign is significantly amplified through a nationwide social media outreach, engaging the public through popular influencers on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. Multiple content creators with a combined reach of over 2.7 million followers are actively promoting oral health awareness messages, campaign activities, and preventive practices aligned with the WOHD theme. This digital engagement strategy helps extend the campaign beyond the event venue and reach younger and broader audiences across Thailand.

These platforms are used to disseminate engaging oral health content, encourage participation in activities, and promote behavior change through relatable and accessible communication formats.

Overall, the World Oral Health Day 2026 event in Thailand reflects a comprehensive approach combining policy advocacy, public education, community engagement, and digital innovation, ensuring strong visibility both on-site and online.
